New Sitcom on BravoTV or is it a Reality Show - The Tankards

Already their taglines are funny as heck "God wants the Tankards to be rich and the Tankards are happy to be rich" and "Why Being Rich is Better". A new Bravo series which maybe as funny as the old Cosby Show to hit the airways in November.

A blended family with Ben Tankard as pa, Jewel Tankard as ma, and the kids are Benji Tankard, Britney Tankard, Brooklyn Tankard, Cyrene Tankard, Diamond Tankard, and Shanira Tankard. As a BravoTvFan, I will be watching and looking forward to meeting all the family. Dubbed as the Black Brady Bunch!

Nene Leakes gets signed on new TV show - “The New Normal"

Nene Leakes has gotten her wish and will be appearing on the new TV Show “The New Normal”. Although we have seen her in more scenes that are "not normal" this new acting thing for Nene may prove to be what a doctor would order. On the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nene has been fighting non stop with her circle of "friends" there, and of late it appears she does not to have many left.

That leaves more speculation on what will happen next on the Real Housewives of Atlanta after this season comes to an end. Who knew that Nene leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta would bring so more interest than if she stayed.

As Phaedra Parks would say, it's delicious.

RHOATL - Sista You Need to Grow Up

Here is another episode with disappointment in the Real Housewives of Atlanta, where two sisters are feuding over one's marriage. Cynthia's little sister Malorie Massie is so disappointed in Cynthia's relationship with her husband Peter Thomas, that she takes it upon herself to make judgment, yet again at a public celebration of their marriage. The first time it was at the wedding. Malorie wants the truth to come out so badly, she goes public so the whole world can make judgment on her sister's marital issues.

Every body knows that money and sex are the two most common factor in breaking up a marriage; but we are learning that if that doesn't do it, family interference is the next thing in line. Although Cynthia Bailey and Peter have been seeing some marriage counselors to help them work out their problems, they will never get it resolved with little sister Malorie's interference at every major event in their lives.

Malorie needs to stay out of their marriage and attend to her own marriage which appears that the other half is missing in action.

Malorie, you need to calm down. Malorie, where is Chris Massie?

Feeling Good and Looking Healthy

In his television interview, Nick Cannon looked the picture of health and well being. On CNN "Piers Morgan Tonight" he talked about the importance of family and that it has been quite an ordeal for him and his beautiful wife, Mariah Carey. He said it seemed that he and Mariah Carey have spent the last two years in hospitals because of her difficult pregnancy with their twins Monroe and Moroccan and his condition with lupus nephritis, an autoimmune disorder. You could just feel their love for one another.

Nick has cut back on his busy schedule, dropping his morning radio shows. While going through his tremendously serious condition, Nick filmed the ups and downs of his ordeal to let others with struggles know they are not alone fighting.

We have prayers going out for Nick Cannon and family to stay healthy and happy.

In a recent post by Wetpaint.com, thought behind the return of the beautiful Lisa Wu is in the making. As you may remember during her last season with the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Lisa and hubby were having some financial difficulty and they were to downsize and to move Ed's old bachelor pad on a sprauling estate on the outskirt of Atlanta. The couple had planned to turn the estate into a housing development at the time that the American's housing market was in a free-fall. To make a long story short, Lisa and ex-NFL player Ed Hartwell finalized their divorce in October of last year.

The question that is being raised is whether Lisa would be ready to return to RHOATL considering the drama she has had in the past few years.

You can bet Lisa's fans would love to see her back !!!

New Spin-off Kandi Factory Realty Show for Burruss

Looks like predictions were correct, because Kandi Burruss of the Real Housewives of Atlanta will preview her new Reality Show and flash her goods on Sunday, March 4th.

In the new spin-off, Kandi will take singing artist and do for them what she did for Kim Zosiak who could not sing at all and Kandi helped her produce a top tune recording. Now Kandi Burruss will show us agan what she's got by taking novice song artist and highlighting their talent to take them to the top of pop songs charts and the like. We have more than confidence that Kandi will reproduce what she did for Kim so for sure. An artist with pipes will be better prepared for super stardom because Kandi Burruss knows her stuff.

Where are Chris Brown's Friends

Chris you need an intervention from your friends and your friends need to tell you somethings you obviously do not know.

Your friends need to tell you that YOU signed up to be in the spotlight, so don't get mad when people take your picture in or out of night clubs. If you can not handle the attention, get out of the business.

They should also tell you when fans ask for a picture or take it without permission, be glad they recognize you and think enough of you to get a picture; it means you have arrived at stardom, but it can be taken away instantly, so be on your guard to always be grateful.

I am telling you to stop chalking up your body, it meaningless and its giving you a bad spirit.

And lastly, ask your real friends to help you by holding you accountable to them. Everybody needs someone to be accountable to, and when you are not accountable to yourself, you need to be accountable to someone else. Call on your real friends and stop acting up.

Rihanna and Brown back Together Again

The rumor mill has it that Rihanna and Brown are secretly back together. It was fiercely rumored before the Grammy's that they were together again, and now that they both have released remix with each other produced on the other's record, it sorta cements the idea. The word is that Rihanna will be singing on Brown's remix for "Turn Up The Music." And he is supposedly on Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" recording.

How is anyone really surprised at all? From the start, when it was first announced that the two had fought in the infamous car ride, the two have been rumored to be together secretly with her father trying to break them up.

There is no news here except they are making their way out of the closet with their love affair.

RHOATL - Nothing But Love for You

We saw some real sentimental emotions coming from all the ladies in the last two episodes, but nothing lasts for long with The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their hearts were touched so much by their visit to an orphanage in South Africa. Cynthia persuade each to make a vow to look past slight differences with one and another with forgiveness and appreciate what they have, for to whom much is given, must is expected.

Of course, that lasted about 3 hours. They were back at throwing each other off the bus and the driver last night was Sheree Whitfield. After throwing Candi off the bus, Sheree drove around and ran over Candi like there was nothing to it. Her telephone call to Kim to alert her that Cynthia and Candi were in Africa dissing her was totally unnecessary. But, just in time to see how Kim can be easily drawn into another scribble on matters that don't matter.

If they weren't so lovable, I would stop watching the girly bantering, but I love these girls and will be watching next week.

Whitney Houston Laid to Rest - Rest in Peace

The legendary and beautiful Whitney Houston will be laid to rest today in Westfield, New Jersey. Overnight, the casket was guarded by ten officers at the Westfield cemetery. According to TMZ.com she will be buried in a plot next to her beloved father.

The burial site funeral will be open to family members only, and comes one day after the Homecoming Celebration of Whitney Houston.

The traditional Homecoming for Whitney was held at her childhood church, at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. As viewed on television it was a mixture of prayer, sadness, joy, humor, hope and much love. She will be remembered for her love of God, her family and friends, as well as her fans. Whitney Houston was greatly loved by people near and far, and around the world.

Jay-Z and Beyonce Talk Smack on Mack TV

Beyonce and Jay-Z have had enough of people questioning why they named their daughter Blue Ivy. They both go totally off the mansion roof so don't ask why again unless you are ready to get ripped. It has been reported that they have patented the baby's name, Blue Ivy. Great idea because the U.S. Patent office has already received applications to commercialize the name from by unrelated parties.

CNN Analyst Roland Martin Suspended

CNN announced their decision to suspend political analyst Roland Martin due to twitters remarks during the Super Bowl Sunday. His remarks have been characterized as "regrettable and offensive". Roland Martin is regularly seen on Anderson Cooper 360 and other broadcasts CNN such as election watch nights of political debates, primaries and caucuses.

His perspective on CNN will be missed in this important political season.

A Rumor Mill is In Full Force - RHOATL

Another sad story has unfolded surrounding the BRAVO saga, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and its another violent story. On Saturday, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes' son Bryce was severly beaten in a bar fight. Reportedly, he suffered a broken jaw and several fractures in the face. It has been denied as rumor, but several news outlets have published the story.

Hopefully he will recover fully.

New York Giants Win Super Bowl XLVI

What a great Super Bowl and the New York Giants are the winners. Wonderful team work !!!

Madonna was a winner also with her back World Peace theme and a bow down. It was a little spacey when they switch from Emperor to the Pope but definitely hot and on time. Madonna is a consummate entertainer bringing on Celo Green and Nicki Minaj. And Madonna still is looking good.

Believe it or not, its being reported that Roseanne Barr has put in paperwork to run for President of the United States of America for the Green Party. We love you Roseanne, but really girl, stick to what you know. We remember you when... you sang the National Anthem...

Tragedy, the Death of Don Cornelius

It came to my ears today as shocking news at the announcement of the death of Mr. Don Cornelius at the age 75. He was the creator of The Soul Train, a popular TV show that featured music and dance in late 1969 through 2006. Many great African American entertainers were regulars on the show. I remember how much I loved watching the show, to learn the latest dance and to see my idols like Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Marvin Gaye just to name a few. It was great entertainment every week.

RHOATL Ridic-u-lously Funny

The Real Housewives of Atlanta had the funniest show to-date for sure last night. On a trip of a lifetime to Africa; and while not even 2 days into the journey, two of the ladies get into the silliest fight you ever want to see. Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton on Real Housewives of Atlanta are face to face hurling serious barbs at one and other with Nene Leakes in the middle trying to break up the fighting. The silhouette is the back drop with them in a fabulously beautiful hotel suite. They end their fighting by gnarling and wagging heads at each other.

Let's see if Anderson Cooper puts them on his Ridiculist.

Is It NeNe or Is It Kandi and Phraedra

Another round of gossip that NeNe Leakes is ready to leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Hold It Right There! NeNe is The Real Housewives of Atlanta so why should she leave.

On the other hand, both Kandi Burruss and Praedra Parks have enough going on in their personal lives that they both could get spin offs and land their own TV shows. Both girls have powerful friends and are widely known and could carry a show of their own.

Although Sheree Whitfield would need to saddle with one of the girls, and I bet that would be Praedra because they both know how to save a friendship.
